• 4 heaped teaspoons chicken stock powder
  • 5 carrots grated
  • 5 potatoes grated
  • onion grated
  • parsley
  • 500g chicken (boneless preferred)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoon rice (heaped)
  • approx. 12 cups water

Bring all to boil (except chicken & rice). Add rice slowly keeping on boil. Add chicken pieces. Simmer 3-4 hours. Get chicken out, cut it up and put back in.

Variations: Can add can corn and other veges if desired.
