Chicken Soup
- 4 heaped teaspoons chicken stock powder
- 5 carrots grated
- 5 potatoes grated
- onion grated
- parsley
- 500g chicken (boneless preferred)
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoon rice (heaped)
- approx. 12 cups water
Bring all to boil (except chicken & rice). Add rice slowly keeping on boil. Add chicken pieces. Simmer 3-4 hours. Get chicken out, cut it up and put back in.
Variations: Can add can corn and other veges if desired.
