Nanna’s Chocolate Frosting
- 6 oz unsalted butter
- 4 oz icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 oz chocolate
- 2 tablespoons cocoa mixed to a paste with milk
Cream butter & sugar. Add egg yolk and melted chocolate (cooled) and cocoa paste.
*Nanna would cut chocolate cake into layers and frost each layer as well as the outside. Decorate with flake.
