Sultana Slab
- 125g (4oz) butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup SR flour
- 1 cup sultanas and walnuts (sultanas can be substituted for mixed fruit)
Melt butter and add brown sugar. Beat in egg, add SR flour, sultanas and walnuts. Spread into 20cm square (8″) tin and bake in a moderate oven for approx. 15 minutes (or until golden).
